Altindag District Ice Skating Roof Project

As Enprotek Engineering, we have successfully completed the Altındağ District Ice Skating Roof Project. This project was originally designed as a laminated timber structure, but after cost analysis, it was redesigned as a steel structure. It is currently serving as a steel structure.

Project Details

• Initial Design – Laminated Timber: Within the scope of the project, the ice skating roof was designed in laminated timber in accordance with Eurocode 5 standards. This design was prepared in accordance with internationally recognized safety and durability standards and submitted to the administration.
• Cost Analysis: Following the cost analysis by the administration, it was decided to redesign the project as a steel structure in order to realize the project in a more economical and sustainable way.
• Final Design – Steel Structure: Following the cost analysis, the ice skating roof was redesigned as a steel structure. This design was optimized for both cost effectiveness and longevity.

Completed Works

• Laminated Timber Design: In the first phase, all engineering calculations and technical drawings of the laminated timber roof system were carried out in accordance with Eurocode 5 standards.
• Steel Structure Design: During the redesign process, engineering calculations and technical drawings were created for the steel structure system. The steel structure was optimized considering its durability and cost effectiveness.
• Project Management and Coordination: Throughout the project, we provided effective management and coordination during all phases of both the laminated timber and steel structure designs. We took the necessary steps to ensure that the project was completed on time and within budget for both design processes.
• Quality Control and Assurance: Throughout the project, we meticulously managed the quality control processes during both design phases, ensuring that the designs and implementations conformed to high quality standards.
